Windows Media Photo (WDP) format
You can export your Expression Design artwork in the Windows Media Photo (WDP) file format by clicking Export on the File menu. After you give the file a name and tell Expression Design where to save it in the Export dialog box, select Windows Media Photo from the Save as Type list, and then click the Save button.
Expression Design displays the Export Image Settings dialog box, in which you can specify image dimensions, and so on. For more information about the Export Image Settings dialog box, see Exporting bitmapped images. The Export Image Settings dialog box also offers options specific to the WDP file format.
- Mode WDP files can be saved in either 24-bit RGB color or 32-bit RGBA (which includes the "alpha" channel to support image transparency).
- Lossless When you select the Lossless check box, Expression Design uses a sophisticated compression algorithm to reduce your file size while maintaining as much image quality as possible. You can control the file size and quality with the Quality control. The higher the compression, the lower the final quality of the exported file. If you select the Lossless check box, your file size will be larger, but the image quality will not be degraded.
When you click OK to exit the Export Windows Media Photo dialog box, the file will be saved to a disk.
